Opportunities
Affiliate Committee: (For Affiliate members)
Promotes the affiliate members of the board, establish ways to better serve the Affiliate
members & to fund/sponsor board events. Meets Monthly
Housing Opportunities Committee:
NEW! Brand new for 2006—be in on the ground floor of this exciting new committee. Help develop the committee’s objectives and goals. Develop events and education.
Meets quarterly.
Education Committee:
Plan and provide relevant, fun and convenient Continuing Education programs.
Provide New Member Orientation classes. Meets monthly on Mondays at 9am.
Finance Committee:
Prepares a balanced budget which funds all programs approved by the Board of Directors. Oversee the assets of the Board and Investments.
Meets at least twice a year.
Horse Show Committee:
Sponsors a Horse Show at Medina Fairgrounds to promote the REALTOR® image in the community and to generate non-dues income for the Board.
Meets monthly January thru June.
Legislative Committee:
Monitors local, state and national issues. Conducts local candidate interviews.
Meets monthly.
Membership Services & Communication Committee:
Reviews and recommends services and products to benefit our members, including the Board Store, Recognition Awards, Board
Library and Membership Directory. NEW! Works to keep them members informed about industry issues, board events and legislative issues Carries member feedback back to the board.
Meets every other month.
Program Committee:
Plans, carries out and promotes the meetings and social events; including the four general membership meetings, and the annual golf outing.
Meets Monthly.
Public Relations Committee:
Promotes the REALTOR® image through community projects and programs; Includes publishing American Home Week Tab and planning of the
Bowl-a-thon. Meets Monthly.
RPAC Committee:
REALTORS® Political Action Committee conducts the annual RPAC fund raising drive for the year. Informs the membership on the importance of contributing to this fund.
Meets monthly January thru May
Technology Committee:
Reviews, maintains and updates all technological functions of the Board, including computerized internal operations, web site maintenance and NAR/OAR Communications information.
Meets Quarterly.
